Summit is our young adult ministry at TUPC, designed specifically for the needs of adults between the ages of twenty-one and thirty-five. How do we do this? By encouraging positive peer-to-peer interactions among current and prospective members, facilitating in-depth Biblical study and practical life-application, and serving the community through informative, Christ-based forums that tackle everyday problems and offer solutions.

By partnering with the ongoing ministries of Trinity Nursery School and inter-generational outreaches, Summit fosters an encouraging and tight-knit community. Because we understand that the individuals within our age-range typically lead busy lifestyles, we have practiced quality over quantity of activities and events.

Small groups are a wonderful time to study “The Word” with intensity and depth and to incorporate those who are unfamiliar with the church. As with any small group at Trinity, the goals of these groups are to excite and express curiosity about Christian living, to share daily life struggles within the group, and to lift one another up in prayer throughout the week. We currently have one small group in operation (this group meets Sunday AM @ 9:50am in the Office Conference Room 1).

Adventures are monthly events held on the third Saturday of the month when we come together and fellowship with food and entertainment—and they have been very successful thus far. Past adventures have included a murder mystery dinner, broom-ball, movie night, and board games.

In addition, we provide Life Summits, short seminars that are meant to be “hands-on” and relevant. Topics to be explored include: cooking, personal finance, healthy relationships, and conquering anxiety.

Finding Satisfaction in God

So often we go through life anxious and stressed, seeking to get ahead, striving to make ends meet. We rush and hurry, filling up our calendars. We are running so fast, we don’t know how to slow down. We are busy and yet not satisfied. We are moving faster, but we never catch up. Come for a women’s retreat weekend of rest and renewal where Rev. Dr. Pamela Anderson will speak to us about finding peace and satisfaction and “breathing space” with God.

Trinity Bus transportation is available to the first 22 registrants at $25.00 each. If more than 22 register, carpool options will be discussed.
