Find Peace!
April 23-25, 2010
Our speaker this year will be Laura Robinson Harbert.
We are pleased to welcome back, Laura. Laura is a mom, wife, daughter, sister, clinical psychologist and an ordained Presbyterian minister. Laura’s insight brings a wonderful honesty with humor and understanding of the issues facing women today.
Laura has five children between the ages of 24 and 17, and loves reading, exploring on her tandem bike with her husband, cooking, hiking, trying to become a gardener, and gaining more experience about parenting adult children.
Laura has taught courses in pastoral care at Fuller Seminary and at North Park Seminary in Chicago. Before coming to the Monterey Bay area she
was a parish associate at the First Presbyterian Church of Evanston, IL and at First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood.
Laura’s passion is integrating her work in clinical psychology with spiritual growth and discipleship. She did her doctoral
dissertation on the role of forgiveness in emotional healing. She received her B.A. from Wheaton College (1981) and M.Div.
(1986) from Fuller Theological Seminary and Ph.D. (1988) from Fuller ‘s Graduate School of Psychology.

Small Groups
|
|
Busy people can become
isolated and disconnected, and sometimes they become pretty empty inside.
It's always easy to get lost in a crowd, to feel lonely even though you may
be surrounded by worshippers on a given Sunday. You will be surprised at the
joy of authentic community when you find a place to belong in a small group
that fits your individual passions and needs. That's why Trinity has a Small
Groups Ministry. |
