How to give Christ Charge of your life!
STEP 1
ACKNOWLEDGE MAN'S PROBLEM
All have sinned and fall short at the glory of God Rom. 3:23 NIV
The wages of sin is death (separation from God.) Rom. 6:23 NIV
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:8 NIV
STEP 2
ACCEPT GOD'S ONLY REMEDY
Jesus said: "I am the way the truth
and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
John 14:6 NIV
Christ gave himself to God for our sins as one sacrifice. Hebrews 10:12 NIV
Jesus said: "Whoever believes in Him
(Jesus) shall not perish, but have everlasting life."
John 3:16 NIV
If we confess our sins Jesus will forgive us. 1 John 1:9 NIV
By grace you have been saved, through
faith - it is the gift of God - not by works.
Ephesians 2:8&9 NIV
STEP 3
GIVE CHRIST CHARGE
Jesus said: "I stand at the door and
knock. If any man hears My voice, and opens the door, I will come in."
Revelation 3:20 NIV
Offer (Give control of) yourselves to God. Rom. 6:13 NIV
STEP 4
PRAY:
LORD JESUS, I am a sinner and want to turn from my sins.
Thank You for forgiving my sins.
I open the door of my life and invite You
to take charge of my life as my Lord and Savior.
