Minister of Discipleship
A Little About Me:
I've done a little of everything! I grew up in North Dakota, studied a year at the University of Vienna, Austria, and even went to Seminary in Kentucky and southern California. I spent sixteen years on staff with Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ), three of those traveling in South East Asia on a music team doing evangelism. Later, I became a campus director at Humboldt State, and did ministry there for seven years.
Sandy is my wonderful wife of 43+ years. We have three children, and three grandchildren! Sandy and I came to Modesto in 1984. Here, I taught high school for seventeen years, and retired a few years back from that. Some people know that, in addition to ministry, I am a private pilot and love to fly! I also love the outdoors, especially a long distance ride on a touring motorcycle. I also still try to water and snow ski when I can. Recently, I have re-opened my interests in classic cars by obtaining a 1966 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible.
How Long Have You Worked at Trinity?
Favorite Drink at Starbucks?
I don't drink Starbucks, but how about a favorite sandwich? Bacon, brown sugar, and peanut butter, on toast! Ask for that at your restaurant, and watch for the cook to look out of the kitchen in awe!
2 Corinthians 5:17 -- "If any person is in Christ, he is a new person, the old is passed away and look, all things become new."
Something I Love About Trinity?
I can always find a way to have a ministry and be used by God in the lives of others. That brings added joy, meaning and purpose to my life!
